About the opportunity
Energy Rigging is recruiting experienced construction management and piping supervision professionals for an industrial construction project in Rotterdam.
The work involves mechanical and piping installation, coordination of site teams and subcontractors, and support for testing and construction completion.
Assignments are expected to last approximately six months, with ASAP starts and the possibility of extension. The working pattern is ten hours per day, six days per week. Accommodation and local transport are provided by the client.
Applicants must already be based within daily commuting distance of Rotterdam.
About this role
You will lead site delivery across mechanical and piping construction activities, coordinating management, supervision and subcontractor teams. Working with the Project Manager, you will maintain clear priorities across safety, quality, progress and completion.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate site activities and the teams responsible for their delivery.
- Translate the project programme into practical site priorities.
- Oversee construction management, supervision and subcontractor performance.
- Monitor progress, resources and constraints, escalating issues promptly.
- Maintain effective communication with the client and project team.
- Oversee safe execution, quality standards and construction handover.

- Already based within daily commuting distance of Rotterdam.
- Available for an ASAP start and the anticipated assignment duration.
- Available for the stated working pattern.
- Appropriate permission to work in the Netherlands before mobilisation.
- Verifiable employment history, qualifications and relevant certificates.
- Willingness to complete the required site induction and role-specific assessments.
Qualifications and certification
- Proven Site Manager experience on refinery, petrochemical or complex industrial construction projects.
- Strong mechanical and piping construction knowledge.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary and multinational teams.
- Relevant technical qualifications or demonstrable equivalent experience.
- Professional spoken and written English.
