Crane / Lifting Supervisors — Industrial Projects
About the opportunity
Energy Rigging welcomes registrations from experienced Crane Supervisors and Lifting Supervisors for upcoming project requirements.
We are interested in people who communicate clearly, lead site teams effectively and understand the importance of delivering lifting activities in accordance with the approved plan.
Typical responsibilities
- Supervise lifting activities within the agreed role and responsibilities.
- Brief the lifting team on the approved plan and relevant site arrangements.
- Coordinate operators, riggers and slinger/signallers.
- Check that required preparations and controls are in place.
- Monitor changing conditions and stop activities where safe execution is in doubt.
- Escalate changes requiring review by the responsible person.
Experience and qualifications
Relevant supervisory qualifications, evidence of competence and practical lifting experience are required. Project-specific certification and experience requirements will be confirmed for each assignment.
Experience on industrial construction, energy, infrastructure or shutdown projects is particularly relevant.
